Pirate Island
- Primary, for up to 160 students
- 60 minutes
- 3 actors/actresses
BB, the infamous Pirate captain, has been shipwrecked on a desert island for 20 years. One day two strangers appear and her peace is destroyed for ever. They speak differently, eat differently and very soon they are all having a real problem getting on. But when their island is threatened, will they be able to overcome their differences and work together? With comedy, music and dance, we encourage students to think about cultural diversity and get involved in the action. The script is carefully written to suit the student’s level and interests, and incorporates the following vocabulary; different types of food, music and ways of dressing, and different ways of greeting.
We provide a work pack with a summary of the story and vocabulary used, plus downloadable songs and listening exercises.
